On this week’s episode of the Women We Love Wednesday I spoke with Sarah Waston. Sarah is the founder, creative director, and designer behind the lifestyle and lingerie brand Breakfast at 6. Sarah has a background in fashion design and started out in the world of custom dress-making. In this interview we go over why she decided to start her own brand, what her creative process looks like, and what advice she has for other entrepreneurs in the fashion space. 

Sarah speaks about the challenges of being a black female business owner and how more authentic conversations & actions need to take place moving forward. We speak about how she plans on growing her business and how she balances her creative and business side plus some lessons she’s learned along the way. 

Breakfast at 6 is a Detroit based lingerie brand that focuses on quality and craftsmanship. Sarah is intentional about making her brand inclusive & about changing how we view female sexuality and self-love.
